Dyke Farm Barn

Last minute booking, exceeded expectations! Positive: The building is beautiful. The village is also beautiful and although we didn’t get to walk to Devil’s Dyke the location is excellent. The kitchen is well equipped. All the facilities were good. Negative: The only thing of note was that a few extra towels would have been handy.

Sehr guter Service und stets bemüht sofortige Hilfe stattfinden zu lassen. Die Kommunikation war unkompliziert und stets Positive: Auf dem Land….leicht mit dem Auto einkaufen gehen zu können. Oder zum Zug um in eine größere Stadt als Ziel anzusteuern Negative: Wir mussten einige Dinge erst sauber machen, oder sie ganz Vorsichtig benutzen.Generell war alles sauber und die Betten waren frisch und ausgestattet mit frischer Wäsche.

Great location Positive: The location is wonderful. It's a pretty village and the barn is walking distance from several beautiful places and also a lovely village pub. The barn is quaint and attractive. Negative: The barn feels very tired and outdated. It would benefit from a general overhaul and refresh. The bathroom layout is particularly uncomfortable. The main bedroom is upstairs but the only (v cramped) shower is downstairs.

Positive: The location is really beautiful, so therefore all the more disappointment how bad the house was Negative: The house is very outdated, there was as bad smell from the downstairs bathroom and there was also a really bad smell in the whole house. Smelled like damp and mold. We opened all windows and doors right away and kept everything opened when we stayed there, but it still didn't get any better. There were dirty dishes in the kitchen cabinet, the kitchen table had crumbles on it and the cabinet with the glasses was really dirty. Overall big disappointment.
